Zoey Celko Advances in Shooting Competition

Congratulations to eighth grader Zoey Celko on winning the Pennsylvania Elks West Central District Hoop Shoot on Sunday at Armstrong High School. Celko has now advanced to the state competition on March 7 at State College. Congratulations and good luck to Zoey!

Competitive Cheer Wins Hard Rocking National Competition

The Highlands varsity competition cheerleading squad competed at the CCC’s Hard Rocking National Cheerleading Competition on Sunday in Cleveland, Ohio. The team hit a perfect (zero deduction routine) scoring an 84.56, which won them not only first place in their division, but also grand champions and high score among all high schools that attended. Class AA Wrestling Bracket Revealed

The WPIAL announced on Thursday the Team Championship brackets, pitting Highlands in the first round against Laurel at Quaker Valley High School at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
